The firm the model names is the one it can describe fairly
ChatGPT does not visit your shop. It reads your website. If the page is vague, you do not show up, or you show up wrong.
This is for you if you own a local business and people in your town ask ChatGPT or Gemini who to hire.
Those tools answer from your website. They can name you and still describe a service you do not offer. Or they name a competitor whose site says the plain thing first.
If a person cannot tell what you do, where you work, and what to do next, the tool cannot either.
Before a model can describe you fairly
- Say what you do in the first screen, in plain words.
- Say where you work. Name the city or the area.
- Say what you do not do, so the model does not make one up.
- Say who you help, and where. Name the customer and the city or area. Not everyone.
- Give one next step. The same one you would say on the phone.
- Make the name, the place, and the phone or email match.
- Only write proof you would say to a customer in person.
Send your website. You get a free report within 48 hours. It says what the tools would say about you, and which lines to fix. A fuller audit comes after that, if you want it.
