Unqode UX Audit vs UX Signal Studio: A Fair Comparison for B2B SaaS Teams

Unqode publishes three UX audit scopes with starting prices, which makes it easy to compare against other providers. If it is on your shortlist next to UX Signal Studio, a boutique UX studio, this post sets the two side by side.

All claims about Unqode come from its UX audit page, linked inline, and reflect that page as of November 2026. We do not judge their quality, team, or outcomes, and we leave their case studies and testimonials for you to read there.

What Unqode lists

As of November 2026, the Unqode UX audit page describes three scopes:

Unqode UX audit scopes, starting prices, timing, and coverage
ScopeStarting priceTimingWhat it covers
Focus AuditFrom $8005 to 7 daysOne critical flow such as onboarding, checkout, or a feature, with severity-rated findings, annotated screenshots, fix recommendations, and a 30-minute debrief call
Full Product AuditFrom $2,00010 to 14 daysFull product review across 8 audit dimensions, with a recorded walkthrough, quick-wins list, 90-day roadmap, and a 60-minute debrief call
Research-Led AuditFrom $4,0003 to 4 weeksThe full audit plus 5 to 8 moderated user interviews and session recording analysis

The page also says final scope and pricing are confirmed on a free scoping call, that senior designers lead the work, that it prefers a staging environment or a test account, and that the team is based in India with a lower cost base than providers in London or New York. It lists B2B SaaS as its focus and says it has audited fintech products, and it says it will tell you if your domain needs a specialist it does not have.

It also gives its own fit guidance: pre-product or pre-PMF teams need user research rather than an audit, and teams after a brand refresh are not a match.

Pick Unqode if

  • You want a price ladder that starts low for a single flow and grows to a full product review.
  • You want user interviews bundled into the audit, which its Research-Led tier includes.
  • You want a recorded debrief walkthrough and a 90-day roadmap as standard deliverables on the larger tiers.
  • Its page says a lower cost base is passed on to clients, and you want to weigh that in your budget.
  • Your product has a working staging environment or a test account you can share.

For a B2B SaaS team that wants an expert review with published starting prices and an optional research layer, Unqode is a reasonable choice.

Pick UX Signal Studio if

  • You want a free first read of your public pages before you schedule any call. The scan form takes a URL and an email.
  • Your pressing question concerns a marketing site, pricing page, or signup path, and a page-by-page review covers it.
  • You want a studio on US Pacific time. Our first discovery call is online, and we are a boutique studio in Vacaville, CA and Alamo, CA.
  • You want to separate the steps: audit first, then a testing sprint only if the findings call for it.
  • You prefer to talk to the people doing the work before you decide.

Comparing starting prices fairly

A "from" price is an entry point. Before you compare two quotes, line up the same things:

  1. Scope. One flow, several flows, or the full product? Ask each provider to list the exact screens.
  2. Method. Expert evaluation only, or does it include research with real users? Our post on usability testing vs a UX audit explains the difference.
  3. Deliverables. A prioritized list you can hand to developers is worth more than a long document.
  4. Debrief. Ask whether a call is included and how long it lasts.
  5. Timing. Providers state different timelines for different scopes, so ask for a date in writing.

Unqode's page is a good model here, since it states scope, starting price, and timing in one place for each tier.

Where the free scan fits

The scan is a first pass. It reads visible text on one public page at desktop width, above the fold and one scroll down. It does not log in, click through, or see inside your product. Use it to see what a stranger sees, then decide whether a paid audit from us, Unqode, or anyone else is worth the money. Our guides to what an automated scan catches and misses and AI vs human UX audits cover the limits in detail.

The short version

Unqode lists three audit scopes with starting prices, user interviews in its top tier, and a team based in India. UX Signal Studio offers a free scan and then page-level and flow-level audits from a boutique studio in Vacaville, CA and Alamo, CA. If you need interviews bundled in and a price ladder, look closely at Unqode. If you want a free read and a conversation with the studio first, start with us.
